Step 1: INQUIRE
- Reach out by phone at 987.7651 Ext: 545 or email admissions@dmcsemail.org to speak with our Family Relationship Manager, Calli Van Kley, about enrollment for your student(s).
Step 2: APPLY
- Please read through, or review, our Admissions Criteria.
Mission-fit families are invited to complete our online application. - Once your application has been submitted, a digital confidential Pastor Recommendation Form is sent to the applicant’s pastor, along with a Student Information Form that is sent to the student’s teacher.
- Upon receiving the application, and all requested documents and forms, we will initiate step 3 of the admissions process.
- Testing will be scheduled for all homeschooled students as well as those with IEPS and 504s.
- There is a non-refundable application fee of $125 that will be applied for the initial application and $25 for every additional student’s application.
- DMCS will only contact you regarding your application if a spot is available in the desired grade or becomes available.
- If there are no spots available in the desired grade, your application submission will automatically place the student’s name on the rolling waitlist.
Step 3: FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
- All K-12 families will be contacted by our Finance Manager to discuss tuition and the Indiana Choice Scholarship Voucher Program.
- The Indiana Choice Scholarship Voucher Program does not apply in PreK, so this step is not necessary for PreK families, unless requested.
Step 4: NEW FAMILY INTERVIEW
- Once we receive and process all the application materials, mission-fit families will be sent a link to schedule a New Family Interview with members of our Education Committee and School Board.
- This is an opportunity to learn more about DMCS and for us to get to know each new family better.
- Prior to the interview, families will receive a Pre-Interview Information Packet outlining important information and questions that will be discussed.
- The Education Committee reviews families for admission, which are then sent on to the School Board for final approval. Once the Board makes the final decision, you will be notified of the decision via email and will be sent a welcome packet that will include the forms necessary to complete enrollment.
Step 5: ENROLL
- Please thoroughly go through the welcome packet, fill out, and sign all the necessary forms and return them to the correlating school office.
- Congratulations - you have completed the Admissions Process and are officially a DMCS Knight!
Optional Step: CAMPUS TOUR
- Please feel free to schedule a tour at any point during the admissions process. You can do so by selecting a date and time that works best for you.
