Discovery Center works with students who need additional support in both math and reading, typically in small groups. As a teacher at DMC, you would be responsible for gathering data, setting group schedules, pulling out or pushing in depending on the student, working closely with classroom teachers, filling out ISP data for the local cooperative, and more. The K-2 Discovery Center teacher works as a part of the K-2 division team.


Job Requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in education or in a comparable field from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school’s statement of beliefs, be an active member of a Protestant church which confesses to the 5 solas of the Reformation – Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, to God’s Glory Alone, be scripturally sound in his or her teaching, and must lead an exemplary Christian life. Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Teachers must also have or be working toward an Indiana teaching license.

DeMotte Christian Middle School is searching for its next fall play director. The fall play is scheduled for late fall with auditions likely occurring in August when school begins. Candidates should have experience in organizing and leading productions, be able to lead middle school students well, agree fully with the school's statement of beliefs, and be an active member of a church. The director will work closely with the Athletic Director to create a schedule to ensure that some athletes are able to participate in the play. The director will also work with custodial staff and volunteers to ensure staging, technology, costumes and props are in order.

DeMotte Christian Schools is searching for a custodian. Training will be provided. The responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, the Upper Campus - West Addition and Early Learning and Event Center (Church Annex). The position will include janitorial and small maintenance items.

DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a paraprofessional in 4th and 5th grades, three days per week, for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This position will work with grades 4-5 as directed by the teaching staff.

DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be responsible for teaching levels 1-3 to high school students.

The teacher will need to be certified to teach science classes in grades 6-12. The position will involve teaching both middle school and high school sections of science. This is a new position, as Demotte Christian is growing and needs an additional science teacher. DMCS is looking for substitute help at both kitchens. Please fill out the general application form to be placed on the sub list for the kitchen! Please reach out to Mr. Jeremy Boer for Grade School kitchen questions and to Mr. Don Mitchell for MS/HS kitchen questions.

Typically, this would include helping to serve lunch and help clean afterwards. Occasionally, and if you're comfortable in the kitchen, we do need help preparing meals as well.
