DMCGS will need a cook's assistant to help serve and clean up hot lunch every day. The position will include set up, serving, and cleaning 5 days per week from 10:30-12:30, totalling 10 hours per week.

DeMotte Christian School is looking for a qualified agriculture teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position includes classes such as introduction to agriculture, agribusiness, principles of agriculture, plant and soil, food science, and other classes dependent on the candidate.  Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in secondary education, agriculture or science from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school's statement of beliefs, be an active member of a church with a Reformed persuasion, and be able to teach high school students well. DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will likely include teaching some English or Literature classes along with some other elective classes. There are many possibilities as our current staff is flexible to make room for a candidate with experience in different subject areas. The elementary music teacher will be responsible for music classes for grades K-4. Classes are half an hour in length for each homeroom. The elementary music teacher also prepares several performances during the school year, including Grandparents' Day (November), Christmas, and a spring program. The programs may be in conjunction with other music teachers at DMCS.

Job Requirements Is a Christian who:

  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Is able to articulate a Christian statement of faith and purpose for Christian education.
  • Subscribes to the purpose and principles listed in Section 2.01 of Article II and the education philosophy contained in Section 3.01 of Article III of the Bylaws (found on application).
  • Possesses a strong love for children.
  • Agrees to educate his/her current and prospective children in a CSI Christian day school grade. K-12. This requirement may be waived if the child(ren) has special education needs that cannot be provided by a local CSI Christian day school.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills.
  • Is a strong team player able to work well with co-workers.
  • Agrees to adhere to the Marriage and Sexuality Position Statement.
  • An active communicant member in good standing of a church which subscribes to the historic Reformed confessions.

Education Requirements:

  • Candidates must have or be working toward an Elementary Education degree as well as an Indiana teaching certificate. 
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
