DeMotte Christian Schools is looking for a qualified high school teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will be responsible for teaching levels 1-3 to high school students.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in secondary education or in a comparable field from an accredited college or university, agree fully with the school’s statement of beliefs, be an active member of a Protestant church which confesses to the 5 solas of the Reformation – Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, to God’s Glory Alone, be scripturally sound in his or her teaching, and must lead an exemplary Christian life. This position would be teaching a combination of social studies, English, and/or Bible to students in grades 6, 7, and/or 8. Specific assignment would be determined by a combination of schedule and/or area(s) of concentration.

The teacher will need to be certified to teach science classes in grades 6-12. The position will involve teaching both middle school and high school sections of science. This is a new position, as Demotte Christian is growing and needs an additional science teacher. DMCS is looking for substitute help at both kitchens. Please fill out the general application form to be placed on the sub list for the kitchen! Please reach out to Mr. Jeremy Boer for Grade School kitchen questions and to Mr. Don Mitchell for MS/HS kitchen questions.

Typically, this would include helping to serve lunch and help clean afterwards. Occasionally, and if you're comfortable in the kitchen, we do need help preparing meals as well.
