WAYS TO SUPPORT

The ministry of DeMotte Christian Schools is dependent on continuous support from parents and churches as well as other individuals and organizations. There are many ways to support our students:

PRAY

Please, don’t overlook the power of prayer. Pray for our faculty and staff as they pursue the work of educating children with biblical standards. Pray, also, for the students as they grow and learn and begin to make choices that will affect the rest of their lives.

VOLUNTEER

There are so many opportunities for you to get involved! Contact any committee chair or visit the school office to sign up.

FUNDRAISING FOR DMCS

The reason we can provide quality Christian education to the DeMotte and surrounding communities is because of the generosity of people like you. We are thankful for your passion for, commitment to, prayers for, and love of DeMotte Christian Schools. Maybe you give because you remember your time here and want to bless another child with the same opportunities. Maybe it’s because you see your grandchildren growing in faith and maturity during their years in DeMotte Christian Schools.

Whatever the reason you are led to give – we are thankful for you. It’s easy and secure to give online if that is your preference.

Athletic Sponsorship

Each year our Athletic Sponsorship Committee seeks support for the athletic programs at DMC and CCHS. We believe that athletic programs are an integral part of a Christian education. It is our goal to live out the truth of Christianity in every aspect of our lives – including athletics. We pray that participation in athletics helps students use the talents and abilities God has given them, steward their talents well, learn how life lessons found in athletics impact our development as Christians, and be witnesses through word and example.

Carrying on the Promise

An important part of our day-to-day operations is made possible through our annual Carrying on the Promise Campaign which directly impacts our General Fund. Every family sees the benefit of this campaign through reduced tuition costs. Each year we prayerfully begin our campaign through a mailing to our school society that explains our campaign goals for the year.

Harvest Sale

The annual Harvest Sale Auction is a night filled with food, fun, an exciting live auction, a silent auction, and fellowship. It is our largest annual fundraising event, and the proceeds help us continue our mission of Christian education in DeMotte and the surrounding communities.

Without the support of our community, we wouldn’t be where we are today – educating over 400 children from preschool through 12th grade and training them to go out and be an influence in God’s kingdom. Thank you in advance for your support!

Foundation Fund

The DMCS Foundation Fund was created in 1982 to help provide financial assistance for the General Fund of the schools. We are blessed to have a healthy Foundation Fund of over $2 million, and contributions to this fund help it grow so that it can give even more towards tuition assistance for our DMCS families each year.

Partners in Education (PIE)

This parent-run committee is the support system behind the fundraising efforts for DMCS. The PIE committee’s purpose is to help provide educational and functional materials for the students and teachers at DMCS from preschool to 12th grade. The fundraising supervised by PIE also helps defray the cost of tuition for our families.

You can help support this committee’s efforts by attending and/or volunteering for our school sponsored fundraisers!

WALK-A-THON (DMC)

The funds raised from this event will be used to continue updating our building interiors at DMC and CCHS. Additional artwork, signage, paint, and more are part of the plan. Our goal is to raise $20,000. We appreciate your support of our students!

Jog-A-Thon (CCHS)

Each spring, the students at CCHS take a week off school to serve. It’s no easy task fundraising for and coordinating this week, but it is worth it! The Jog-A-Thon is one of two fundraisers that funds Service Week trips.
