It is our goal to live out the truth of Christianity in every aspect of our lives, including athletics.
– DMCS Athletic Philosophy

Fall Sports:

Our middle school athletes have a lot of choices in the fall, offering coed soccer (6th-8th grade), girls volleyball (6-8), and coed cross country (5-8). These seasons start the second week of school and go through mid-October, finishing with a conference tournament. We also offer a short baseball season that primarily practices in the summer with a few games once school starts.

Winter Sports:
With the winter season comes basketball. Our 6th-8th grade boys have three teams and the season starts in mid-October and finishes before Christmas break.
The 6th-8th grade girls also have three teams and play from January through February.
Cheerleading also practices and performs during the boys season, allowing the girls to cheer and play basketball when their season comes after Christmas break.
We also have a parent-led 5th grade intramurals program where the boys and girls meet together a few weekends to work on their skills and work together!
Spring Sports:
DeMotte  Christian’s spring sports start with a short boys volleyball season for our 7th and  8th graders that runs from late February through spring break (mid-March).
After spring break, our 6th-8th graders have the opportunity to compete in track and field, which finishes up in early May
Opponents:

In addition to competing against local public schools, DeMotte Christian is a member of the Chicagoland Christian Junior High Athletic Association. The conference has the goal of competing against one another while still prioritizing the goal of honoring and praising God.
